Glycerin rich soaps.

Most of my soaps are made with Palm Oil, Olive oil, Coconut Oil and Castor Oil.  Some have added Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter and/or Sweet Almond Oil. Yes, I do use lye (sodium hydroxide) but this isn't your grandma's soap.  Please read below why you might want to use homemade soap.

My mechanic's soap is made with palm oil, coconut oil, castor oil, olive oil, cocoa butter, hempseed butter and then I add corn meal and pumice powder for scrubbing power then scented it with the man's scent.

Apricot, Peaches and Pears is made with palm oil, coconut oil, olive oil, castor oil, and shea butter.  This is a nice summer scent.

Oatmeal, Milk and Honey soaps are made with palm oil, olive oil, coconut oil, and castor oil.  I add fine ground oatmeal, honey powder or real honey and goat milk powder.  This is one of my best sellers.

My man's soap is made for men but women like it too.  I have a hard time keeping this soap on hand.  It sells pretty fast.  I make it with palm oil, coconut oil, olive oil, castor oil and shea butter.

The Lavender and Goat Milk soap is nice and natural.  It is made with palm oil, coconut oil, olive oil, castor oil, shea butter, goat milk powder, and the essential oil of Lavender.

The Kitchen soap is made using coffee for the liquid instead of water and instant coffee grounds for extra power.  My customers say this soap helps wash off onion and garlic smells.  It is scented with vanilla for a nice clean scent.

Soaps vary in size but are at least 3 1/2 ounces.

Cost is $3.50 each.

Why Homemade Soap?

Have you ever wondered why you have itchy and dry skin after a bath?  Glycerin is a natural occurrence in homemade soap and it moisturizes the skin.  The commercial bars you buy in the grocery store are probably NOT soap but a synthetic detergent bar that may cleanse by harshly stripping away the skin's protective oils.  Additionally, commercially made soap has salts and other harsh chemicals added to remove Glycerin to sell to cosmetic companies.

Commercial soaps are not actually soap but DETERGENTS.  A detergent is used to remove dirt and oils from our skin, leaving the skin dry and itchy because the natural moisture is removed.

Homemade soaps are just pure soap.  Soaps purpose is to break the surface tensions of water to allow the soap to clean our skin of dirt and other impurities.

The end product of Homemade soap is a combination of soap and glycerin.  Glycerin is naturally found in homemade soaps because it is a by-product of the soap making process.  Glycerin attracts moisture and traps it therefore keeping the skin moisturized and soft.  Glycerin makes the soap last longer and it gentler to our skin.

Modern technology has given us the benefit of accurate measurements and improved ingredients.  Fine oils and herbs are available so the homemade soaps today are mild and wonderfully fragrant.
